APPLY FOR AN ELECTIVE ABROAD

When you wish to do one of the electives abroad, there is a certain progress to go through.

First of all, check the exchange program. Make sure to compare the academic calendar of ITEPS with the exchange school and figure out your interests in the school you wish to study at. The next step is to list your preferences (1, 2, 3). If there are too many interested students, the selection will be based on your study results.

At iStenden you can find the application form, look out for the remarks on this form. To complete the application, you have to write a Letter of Motivation, fill out the safety & well-being form and you need the approval of your study coach. Only complete applications will be handled, others will be put on a waiting list. A language test is part of the application as well, however this does not affect the grant.

Once this is settled, the application at the host university can be completed. Do not  make any firm arrangements until you receive a confirmation of your admission to the university. Before your departure, you have to arrange a learning agreement with your chosen courses, which have to be approved and signed by all parties: by the academic contact of your programme and by the partner university and by yourself.
